Workplace Needs Assessment (WPA)

Are you making the correct adjustments for your employees?

Help your employees bring their whole authentic selves to work

A Workplace Needs Assessment ensures your disabled or neurodivergent employees can perform their roles to the best of their abilities. It also helps employers understand what adjustments are available and how to best support their employees (s).

They are also essential for organisations to meet their legal obligations (Equality Act 2010) to staff with disabilities, including long-term health conditions, mental health difficulties, neurodifferences, sensory difficulties, and physical impairments.

What is a Workplace assessment?

A Workplace Needs Assessment is a conversation between you (or your employee) and an Assessor. The Workplace Needs Assessments helps the assessor understand what your working day looks like; your role, responsibilities, tasks, strengths, and any challenges you are experiencing, all so that they can make useful recommendations to support you.

Your assessor will produce a report recommending possible adjustments, the reasons for them, and explaining how they might help. With your consent, this report will be submitted to your employer so that they can consider the recommendations suggested.
