Job Title: Oliver McGowan, Co-Trainer (Learning Disabilities)

Role 

Olive McGown Training is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Co-Trainer to deliver high-quality, Tier 2-approved training in Learning Disabilities. You will partner with our Lead Trainers to facilitate interactive workshops and practical sessions, ensuring delegates gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support adults with learning disabilities in a person-centred way.


Location:
(UK-Essex with travel to client sites as required)


Key Responsibilities

  • Co-Deliver Training: Assist in planning and delivering face-to-face for Tier 2 Learning Disabilities qualification.


Essential

  • Qualification: Must hold a Tier 2 Approved Qualification in Learning Disabilities

Job Role: Oliver McGowan Approved Lead Facilitating Trainer

(Associate Contract (Self-Employed)

You will lead and quality-assure sessions, deliver the Tier 1 content confidently, run interactive elements, and support co-trainers.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of Oliver McGowan Tier 1 sessions from start to finish.
  • Manage interactive activities and group discussions.
  • Ensure session quality and fidelity to the course materials.
  • Support and mentor co-trainers during delivery.
  • Complete pre-session checks and post-session reports as required.


Essential

  • Hold an Accredited Oliver McGowan Trainer Certificate 
  • Strong facilitation skills and confidence running interactive sessions.
  • Ability to quality-assure session delivery and work collaboratively.
  • DBS (or willingness to obtain)
  • Have public liability insurance.
